Linda Ibbitson-Elks

Linda joined the Board on retirement from the Broads Authority, where she was Head of Safety Management and was central to improving the safety of hire boats.

Linda moved to Norfolk from London in 2002, having worked for Islington Council for 16 years in Environmental Health as a Principal Environmental Health Technician.

As a teenager growing up in London, Linda joined the Sea Cadets and learnt how to sail. Nowadays, Linda is passionate about the conserving the Broads landscape and enjoys watching wildlife from her bungalow on the River Thurne.
