Henry is Patron of the Broads Society and has lived in Norfolk all his life, with a strong connection to the area and a deep understanding of its communities. He is particularly interested in representing the wide range of people who live and work within the Broads.

He has farmed in Broadland and has worked as a Chartered Surveyor since 1978, bringing extensive knowledge of the landscape, its people and the challenges they face. He was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours in 2008 for his services to the community in Norfolk.

He values the importance of protecting the Broads as a beautiful and working environment, ensuring it can be enjoyed by future generations.

Henry feels most connected to the livelihoods of those who live and work within the Broads, recognising their vital role in shaping and sustaining this unique area.
