Claire joined the Broads Society after spotting the role and instantly knowing it was the perfect fit—bringing together her skills in marketing, communications, digital strategy, brand development and event management, alongside a lifelong love of the Broads.

With over 20 years of running her own business, she brings a creative and thoughtful approach. A real people person, she enjoys helping connect the Broads Society with a wider audience while supporting the community already at its heart.

She feels most connected to the quieter, more nostalgic corners of the Broads—especially along the River Ant upstream from Barton Broad, with its unmistakable Wind in the Willows charm.

Time spent on the family boat is a huge part of that connection, along with treasured memories of visiting Irstead Church with her parents when she was a child and, years later, watching her own son play on the green there.
