About the event
This year's World Wetlands Day has a theme of "Celebrating cultural heritage" but many aspects of our cultural heritage in the Broads, including the landscape created by people over many centuries, are threatened by climate change. It appears the world has missed the opportunity to limit warming to 1.5 degrees C and the resulting impacts - heatwaves, floods, saline incursions and drought, are upon us. How can we defend the Broads, adapt to the new conditions, and perhaps even turn them to our advantage? Join us for a light supper (FULLY BOOKED), followed by some short, punchy, expert presentations and a lively debate, inclusive of all voices speaking up for the Broads.
Licensed bar, tea and coffee are all available.
