About the event

Join us for the second Broads Society Annual Lecture, presented by author and historian James Parry.

Few counties can boast such a long pedigree of illustrious natural historians as Norfolk. In this talk, James Parry will look at some of the historical figures who have helped define the county as a leading force in the appreciation of wildlife and the advance of conservation.

James Parry is a writer on art, heritage and the environment. His publications include recent biographies on the pioneering bird photographer, Emma Turner, and the Norfolk naturalist, Rev Maurice Bird.
