Built over 90 years ago by Percy Hunter, the Hunter’s Yard is situated in its own dyke off Womack Water in Ludham. Home to the historic Hunter's Fleet of sailing yachts, the two boat sheds are largely as they were built using timber in the traditional Broads style with the majority of original features intact and numerous pieces of equipment, tools and boat fittings on view.
 
This is a unique opportunity so book early!  There will be a tour of the yard and a talk about its history and present-day operations.  The volunteers will also take you for a sail on one of their famous half deckers. 
 
Bring a picnic or a barbeque and some chairs.  Tea/coffee served on arrival.  Total capacity is 50 people, with 36 places on the boats, so check your friends’ diaries and make a day of it!
