About the event
In the final Broads Society Supper of this winter season, we will debate "Better Access for All to the Norfolk Broads". After a delicious, Italian-themed supper at BridgeStones Cafe in Potter Heigham (NOW FULLY BOOKED), four excellent speakers will briefly introduce access issues from their own expert perspective:
- Katie Jarvis from the Nancy Oldfield Trust will tell us what more needs to be done to help people with disabilities and special needs enjoy the Broads.
- Ben Falat from the Norfolk & Suffolk Boating Association will share with us the main issues and challenges for the Broads' 11,000-strong boating community.
- Mary Sparrow from Visit the Broads will consider ways and means to persuade more visitors from home and abroad to access the Broads and build the local economy.
- Sally-Ann Meadows from Wheatfen Reserve will analyse how we can sustainably bring more people to the Broads to enjoy the amazing wildlife…
