About the event
Join Broads Society members and friends for an evening to stimulate your taste buds as well as your mind! After supper between 6:00 and 7:00 pm, Broads Society members Bill and Brian will describe their explorations on the Yare, Bure and tributaries to expose the insidious problem of scrub and woodland encroachment on reedbeds. This has become a serious issue for the conservation of our unique reedbed fauna and flora and is preventing sailing clubs from pursuing their regattas in traditional sailing waters. The Broads are changing before our very eyes and the Broads Guardians have identified priority sites for action this winter. We are looking for support from the Broads Authority, landowners, volunteers and sponsors.

All welcome for £20 per person, to include entry and a buffet supper. Dietary requirements will be catered for. Pay bar open for refreshments.
